What type of emails can I send?

Both transactional and marketing emails can be sent using Cakemail's Email API.

Do I need a Cakemail account to use the Email API?

Yes, you need a Cakemail account. Cakemail's Email API is available as an add-on to Cakemail's Free, Growth and Premium Plans.

With your Cakemail account, you will have access to detailed activity logs, email reports, as well as metrics and trends for performance and deliverability.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards and will process your payments, in USD, CAD, and EUR, using Stripe.

When will I be billed?

Your credit card is automatically charged once a month on the date you purchased your plan. If you purchased your plan on a day that does not occur in every month (such as, the 31st), you'll be billed on the last day of that month instead.

What happens if I reach my sending limit?

Once your sending limit is reach, you will be charged overage fees for each 1,000 emails you send. Overage fees are calculated based on the plan you have selected.

What happens to unused emails?

Unused emails don’t roll over month to month. Sending limits reset at the end of each billing cycle.
